If you are finding your batteries appear to be not holding charge, please try the following solutions:
It may sound obvious, but many people do not charge their gloves fully.
The correct process is as follows:
Here is a handy guide to the red charging LED on the glove:
LED State | Meaning |
---|---|
lens Off | Charger not connected |
lens Solid Red | Charger connected and charging in progress |
wb_sunny Flashing every 3 seconds | Charger connected and charging complete |
wb_sunny Flashing 5x per second | Charger not connected and battery power is low |
IMPORTANT: Prior to charging, please carefully read the battery safety instruction document included with your glove(s)
If you are using the 'glove network' mode of connection (where you connect directly to one of your gloves), then one of your gloves will be serving its own WiFi network. This can cause this glove to consume battery power faster than if your glove(s) were connected to a router.
Instead, connect your gloves to your home router or a dedicated router for your gloves. Please see the following video on how to change the connection type on your gloves:
An earlier version of Glover had a bug that caused the indicator to display the battery level rapidly running down (when this was not happening in reality).
This bug is now fixed so please ensure you are on the latest version of Glover, which you can find in your user account
If so, please ensure you have made the screw modification that we contacted you about. If you are unsure about what this means, please contact us at [email protected] or using the 'Contact Us' popup on the website
